           We needed 200 parts reversed engineered and manufactured within 6-9 months. There were no drawings to any of these parts. Remcal reversed engineered and manufactured and quality controlled these 200 parts in the time frame required. We are pursuing a part cost reduction program with them in 2011. - OEM manufacturer of Statement Processing equipment.

          We had a $300 cordless hand scanner and the OEM would not provide any replacement parts for the unit. Remcal reversed engineered and manufactured 2 parts for us that were superior in quality to the OEM part. We purchased 10,000 fewer pieces in 2011 by having these 2 parts. Before doing this project with Remcal, we had to spend $300.00 for a new unit. Now our cost to repair these 2 parts per unit is only $10 using the Remcal parts. -Repair Depot who services one of the world’s largest retailers.

           We need to drive scrap down on some ATM equipment made in Europe. There were few parts available from the OEM to repair this equipment. Remcal reverse engineered and manufactured these replacement parts and drove our scrap rate down to almost zero and saved us over $300,000 in 2 years. -ATM OEM that services another ATM OEM's equipment.

           We were looking for a way to reduce our repair costs, and also come up with an alternative to procure parts outside of equipment teardowns. Remcal reverse engineered and manufactured several of the key components for 2 of our highest volume service units.
