Manufacturing

Remcal's domestic and international manufacturing network provides customers with unique opportunities to drive down operating costs. Remcal incorporates the consulting and engineering aspect of our business to pin-point ideal scenarios where manufacturing can reduce a customer's expenses. This is done through reverse engineering and producing new low cost Remcal parts, and creates other opportunities to drive down depot repair costs, and aggressively manage and control service contracts by producing the parts required to maintain and service the equipment under contract.

 

 

 

 

Plastic Injection Molding:  
Plastics are an area of expertise in Remcal's parts portfolio. Our Customer base is continually looking for areas to drive down service costs, and plastic parts development is a good place to initiate cost reduction. Remcal engineers reverse engineer a part to either match the original part or make improvements to the part based on a customer's input. For complex parts, Remcal will create rapid prototypes for customers to approve prior to finalizing the mold. We understand that there are many companies that can make a plastic part, but controlling the quality lot after lot is where many fall short. Because each Remcal part has an engineering drawing and inspection document, our quality control department can verify that the part meets the customer's specifications each and every time.

Belts:  
Belts are one for the most complex parts to produce. High speed machines require precision belts that have the proper material formulation to withstand harsh operating conditions. Additionally, belts may look good prior to install but fail prematurely due to installed tensions not matching the machines specifications. Remcal has had a long and successful track record providing OEM and service companies with belts that meet or exceed expectations. Remcal has developed a dependable manufacturing base that provides the reliable and consistent materials needed to make the best belts in the industry.

Rollers:  
Correct formulations are key to roller performance. Remcal keeps a chemical engineer on staff to confirm that roller formulations are specified correctly and mixed to the exact proportions. We manufacture hundreds of different rollers in a multitude of sizes, formulations and operating speeds.

Electronics (Sensors, Motors, Wire Harnesses, Ribbon Cables, etc.):  
Remcal has electrical engineers on staff to design, repair, specify and troubleshoot a variety of standard or custom electronic components. Remcal's electronic capabilities also include the ability to analyze and repair PCB's.

Metals (Machined, Stamped, Specialty Finishes):  

Our metal products range from delicate printhead pins to industrial mail sorting rails. Key metal finshes are specified by the part's application or use.
